About NINTA

The definitive, evidence-based trade awards platform

The Nigerian International Trade Awards is a specialist recognition programme designed to identify and reward outstanding performance across Nigeria's import-export ecosystem. It is the first and only programme that systematically covers the entire value chain, from the farmer in Kaduna who exports premium ginger to the terminal operator in Apapa who reduces dwell time.

Every category carries published, weighted criteria, both quantitative and qualitative. Winners are chosen on merit, not connections, by an independent panel of trade economists, retired customs officials, logistics veterans and multilateral trade representatives.

  • 01
Comprehensive scope. Exporters, importers, logistics, ports, finance, diplomacy and policy, in one unified framework.
  • 02
Evidence-based rigour. Mandatory verification of every claim; no winner declared on fewer than six quality entries.
  • 03
Integrity first. Conflict-of-interest declarations; sponsors hold no influence over judging outcomes.
The National Imperative

Why trade diversification is Nigeria's future

For the first time in a generation, non-oil exports are growing faster than crude oil revenue. This is not a fluke. It is the result of relentless, under-recognised work by thousands of exporters, financiers and policymakers.

About Podhium

The organiser of NINTA

Podhium is the reputation rating institution for structurally opaque markets: environments where transparency is limited, evaluation is complex, and decision-makers must make high-stakes choices about whom and what to trust on the basis of fragmented or performed signals.

We turn fragmented and unstructured information into clear, standardised, decision-ready ratings, at the level of individuals, the platforms that confer authority on them, and the institutions that shape their lives.

Across every market we cover, the same problem repeats:

  • Authority and quality are claimed more often than they are verified.
  • Brand, legacy reputation and informal networks stand in for comparable evidence.
  • Genuinely high-performing actors are obscured while incumbents are systematically advantaged, and capital, talent and trust move on perception, not proof.

Podhium exists to replace those heuristics with structured, comparable, independently audited insights.

Join Nigeria's most consequential trade platform

Whether you enter, sponsor, partner or attend, you become part of the benchmark for trade competitiveness in Africa's largest economy.
